Coaching at Depth

Real-World Experience at the Top

Before training as a therapist and coach, I spent many years in senior leadership roles — including as CEO of Time Out, the Royal Academy of Dance, and as Creative Director at Virgin Money.

I know first-hand the pressures, responsibilities, and isolation that can come with leading teams, driving change, and making big decisions.

This background helps me understand the real-world challenges my clients face — whether they’re navigating leadership, burnout, imposter feelings, career transitions, or questions about purpose and direction.

I bring that experience into the room in a grounded, thoughtful way, combining it with therapeutic insight and coaching skills to offer support that’s both practical and emotionally attuned.

Helping people to achieve their full potential

Alongside my therapy work, I also offer coaching — for people who want to make changes in their professional lives, find clarity, or move forward with more confidence and purpose.

Coaching can be especially helpful if you're:

  • Re-evaluating your direction or legacy as a senior leader

  • Navigating complex change or organisational transformation

  • Facing a critical career decision or leadership transition

  • Feeling stuck, depleted, or disconnected from your sense of purpose

  • Balancing high performance with personal sustainability

  • Seeking to deepen your impact, influence, or presence

  • Exploring what leadership means at this stage of your life and career

You don’t need to be in crisis to benefit — coaching is often about getting clearer, braver, and more intentional.

My Coaching Approach

I’m a qualified coach, trained with Barefoot Coaching and accredited by the International Coaching Federation (ICF) — one of the world’s leading professional coaching bodies.

What makes my coaching different is that it’s also informed by my background as a psychotherapeutic counsellor. That means I can work in a deeper, more reflective way than some coaching models allow — especially when the things getting in the way are rooted in long-held beliefs, patterns, or emotional blocks.

This combination of skills allows me to support you not just to set goals, but to understand what might be holding you back, what really matters to you, and how to move forward in a way that feels authentic and lasting.

How It Works

Coaching sessions are usually 60 minutes and can be online or in person in at my rooms in Haslemere or at your office wherever you are in the world. Some people come for a focused series of sessions (e.g., over 3–6 months), others check in more occasionally when they need support.

I offer a free introductory call so we can talk about what you’re looking for and whether coaching with me feels like the right fit.

Is Coaching or Therapy Right for Me?

That’s a good question — and we can explore it together. Coaching is usually best when you’re focused on moving forward, making decisions, or developing something in your professional life. Therapy tends to go deeper into emotional wellbeing, relationships, and inner patterns. However, inevitably one effects the other.

Because I offer both, we can figure out what approach makes the most sense for you — and adjust as we go if needed.
